I feel personally tortured by GUST...

...with the release of this heartbreakingly magnificent Phantasmagoria music box, already sold out in preorder, and this Jakuri mug (endearingly entitled "The Last Boss's Black Mug"), which is not yet sold out but which I can't imagine ever being able to procure.

At the very least, you can listen to a snippet from the music box on the page. Doing so fair broke my heart; it's simply beautiful. I think it officially sounds a lot nicer than the version of Phantasmagoria on the Hymmnos Orgel Collection, even if it's only a brief snippet of the song; there's a deep, rich warmth to the sound that makes me all nostalgic, probably because I actually used to have a little music box that only came out at Christmas-time (we kept it with the decorations the rest of the year) and so the sound reminds me of that. I miss that music box. Makes me want to see fanart of a Reyvateil gazing longingly through the windows of a toy shop at a music box on a snowy day....

Even if I can't have these, I'll be saving the pages for posterity. Still trying to work out why the Jakuri mug is trembling at me from the top of the page, though.

That music box is nice! And is that mug heat sensitive or something? That's pretty cool.

I could have sworn there was a fan art with a music box in it, but I can't find it anywhere...

WOW! That music box is amazingly beautiful. I can see myself getting it on ebay if it ever pops up on there, even if it's $300 or something.

I was thinking eBay, too...

And yes, I think the mug's heat sensitive. That still does not explain the vibration. Maybe Jakuri-mug is cold and wants you to warm it up.

lol That's just to get your attention.

I didn't even listen to the music box tune before, but now that I have, it is very nicely done!

...Jakuri doesn't need to tremble to get my attention. I'd pay attention to her anyway...

And as I said in the forums, with this now I have in my listing three music boxes that I won't be able to get ever...

These are the ones:

1) Poporogue Music Box:
http://popolo-web.hp.infoseek.co.jp/rogue/index.html
(it's the second image, and it also has tune samples. The song is the main theme from Popolocrois, called "Pietro's Journey").

2) Popolocrois ~ Tsuki no Okite no Bouken (Adventure of the Moon's Law) Orgel:

Sound sample: http://www.4shared.com/file/72742412/7e303c07/sakuramioka.html

(I had to upload the tune sample apart, and the song it plays is called Sakura Mioka (Hill of Cherry Blossom Viewing), the second ending theme for the Popolocrois 2003 anime series, and the main theme for the Popolocrois ~ Tsuki no Okite no Bouken game)

3) The Phantasmagoria Orgel...

And sorry for ranting on that, but I guess I wanted everyone about these other two music boxes...

(endearingly entitled "The Last Boss's Black Mug")

...I should not have been drinking coffee when I read that. Omg, Japan, I love you. =D

I should not have been drinking coffee when I read that.

Only if you were drinking it from The Last Boss's Black Mug. *nods*

I'm imagining all the bosses sitting around the break room having coffee.

Also, it would be one thing if it were "SKU #123456 Black Jakuri Mug" or something, but the title "The Last Boss's Black Mug" probably doesn't need to specify that it's black.

The trembling may the an indication that The Last Boss's Wrath (that's what keeps the tea warm) is craving release.

Only if you were drinking it from The Last Boss's Black Mug. *nods*

*imagine's an office worker's reaction to that revelation*

Gah! She's coming?! *looks around for a place to hide* I can't be caught drinking out of her mug, it'll be all over for my career!

but the title "The Last Boss's Black Mug" probably doesn't need to specify that it's black.

It's possible that she also has mugs in other colours... Black can be for emptiness or pessimism. If you drink from the white one 'till it's half empty, it turns black.

As to the comments regarding why it is specified black: maybe they really wanted to drive home how gothic and dark Jakuri is. Because we really didn't notice. ;)

The Last Boss's Wrath (that's what keeps the tea warm)

"With our innovative new Last Boss's Wrath heat-retention system, your drinks can stay warm for up to eight hours!"

...darn, I want my tea warmed by the wrath of Jakuri. It sounds so epic. "Wow, Ayulsa, your tea's still hot after all that time." "Yes, THE WRATH OF JAKURI keeps it warm." "...wow." Though I suppose then I'd have to keep bugging her, and I really don't want to do that....

Also, if your boss is also a last boss... you might want to seek less dangerous employment. Just sayin'. ;)
